POP (PKI Outreach Programme) is a Nationwide PKI Awareness initiative by the Controller for Certifying Authority (CCA), MCIT, Government of India. The program is carried out by Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Electronics City, Bengaluru which is a unit of CDAC, Mumbai (Formerly NCST).
The Government of India has taken this major initiative to make the country e-ready by initiating various e-governance implementaions across the country like automation of Income tax, passport, etc.. PKI forms the backbone for all these initiatives depends on adoption of PKI.
C-DAC is conducting various programmes across the nation to create wide-scale awareness. As a part of this, One-Day Symposia, Two-Day Workshops, Three-Day Training and National level workshops are being scheduled at different locations in India.
